On Air personality / plus assistant program Director been with Station since 2013 Been hosting my own show for six years the KROV-FM morning wake up ☕️ with Keith Scott been in radio and television for over 20 years hosted my own show on Black video news Black Friday live started out in gospel radio Victory AM 1360 in Jacksonville, Florida + vice president for San Antonio, Black journalist for two years! And still making an impact in San Antonio, Texas!!

Alan Copeland

host of The Now Is Money Show. Born in Buffalo, New York, attend D. E. C. and Lancaster high School, Lancaster, NY. In business and art. Inducted to the Lancaster High School Athletics Hall of Fame June 22nd, 2013, First team All-State. Was the most valuable player in the New York state high school All-star game his senior year.
Attendant Kansas Wesleyan and Emporia state colleges. Moving to San Antonio, TX .1992 Salesman of Year for Gunn Dodge. The first radio show was Going the extra mile with Alan Jay Copeland, then Health is my Hobby with Alan Jay Copeland, and now The Now Is Money Show

Mario Salas

Mario Marcel Salas is the President of San Antonio Community Radio (KROV) and is active in San Antonio Politics. Mr. Salas trains public school teachers in ethnic studies curriculum. International experience includes Development of the economic development program for the City of San Antonio establishing the first economic relationship between Mafeking, South Africa and San Antonio, and served as a member of the International Affairs Committee for the City of San Antonio while he was the District 2 City Councilman. He has written historical municipal markers for the City of San Antonio and provides walking tours of historic areas on the city’s East Side. He is also a member of the Bexar County Historical Commission.

Jackie Sauceda

Born and raised here in San Antonio Texas.
After graduating high school, I began to work at an Attorney’s office at the age of 19 years old. After 8 years of gaining amazing life skills, learning Texas Law, working my way from receptionist to Paralegal, I ultimately decided to pursue my passion.
I now PROUDLY introduce myself as a Texas Realtor!!
Why is real estate my passion? I know I’m weird, HAHA! I love paper work, I love helping people, and I absolutely LOVE the Texas culture!

James Lockhart

James Lockhart, born in 1956 in Annapolis, Maryland, and raised in San Antonio, Texas, made history as the first Black student at Highland Park High School in Dallas during 1974-75. Inspired by KAPE radio, he pursued a career in broadcasting. After attending Bishop College, James returned to San Antonio and started his radio career at KAPE. In 1980, he launched a community TV outreach, and in 2001, expanded to allnationstv.com. He joined KROVFM.COM in 2009 and founded Rhemagospelxpress.org in 2019. James has received numerous awards and hosted events featuring gospel legends like the Mighty Clouds of Joy and Shirley Caesar.

On-air personality and host of “The B-Side” show and co-host of “Jazz Vault.” Born in Brooklyn, NY and attended Lincoln University, PA. Retired from the United States Air Force with 24+ years. Retired a second time from Federal Civil Service as an AETC Logistics Instructor. Initially resided in San Antonio, TX in 2003. Active/current participant in USATF Masters Track and Field and was ranked #16 in the 100M and #19 in the 200M in the United States in the U.S. Masters Track & Field rankings for the year 2000. Loves to travel the world and is the CEO of his own travel agency.

Jazz Vault

Jill Christie

a native of Louisville, KY. She met Muhammad Ali in Kindergarten & she enjoys The Kentucky Derby.

Christie got her Broadcasting/Communications start with an internship as a D.J. her first semester at University of Louisville. She went on to Host Evenings at the same Historically Black Radio Station in the city, WLOU.

A short while later, Christie moved to Indianapolis and did turns as Production Director and Air Personality at WTLC, WZPL and WTPI. She also began her journey to NEWS as a Traffic Reporter with Metro Networks and served as a TV Host on WNDY.

She later made the move to Texas after visiting San Antonio several times! Christie
completed her 5 year tenure w/ Metro Networks doing traffic for many San Antonio Stations including KENS-TV.

Her full time news days began at 1200 WOAI in 2000 followed by five years at KTSA and Freelancing at Texas Public Radio.

Enter her first tenure as News Director & Morning Show Co-host here on 91.7 HD 2 KROV FM/KROV FM.com from 2011-2016. Christie was part of the team that Launched the station & rejoined KROV in July as News Director & Air Personality.

When she’s not at work fulfilling her Passion, you’ll find her hanging out with her daughter, friends or watching HGTV.
